Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Alash Group L.L.C-FZ (“ATELIER”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use the ATELIER website at atelierlooks.com and related services (the “Service”).

ATELIER is operated by Alash Group L.L.C-FZ, a limited liability company registered in the Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (License No. 2203892.01), with its registered address at Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, U.A.E.

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who this Policy applies to

The Service is intended only for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@atelierlooks.com and we will delete it.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

• Account information. Your name and email address when you register for an account.
• Style profile information. Information you choose to provide to personalise your styling recommendations, which may include your gender, height, weight, clothing sizes, body type, style preferences, items you prefer to avoid, profession, and age range.
• Photographs. Photographs you provide for the following features: a photograph of yourself to use our virtual try-on and outfit styling features; a photograph of another person, where you are creating a styling look on their behalf; and photographs of outfits you upload to use our Look Review feature.
• Appearance cues derived from photographs. To improve the accuracy of your styling recommendations, we analyse a photograph you provide to derive clothing-relevant styling cues — such as colour undertone, contrast level, hair colour, and neutral guidance on silhouette — together with suggested clothing colours that tend to suit, or not suit, the analysed colouring. These cues are used solely to choose clothing colours and cuts. They are not used to assess your appearance, health, ethnicity, or any other personal characteristic, and they are never shown to other users.
• Payment information. When you purchase a subscription, your payment is processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers; Stripe handles your payment information directly.
• Support information. When you contact us through our support form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it), and the content of your message.
• Usage information. Basic technical information necessary to operate and secure the Service, such as your interactions with features and limits on usage.

3. How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including generating outfit recommendations, virtual try-on previews, Look Review (outfit reviews), Item Review (product reviews), and stylist chat responses;
• Personalise your styling recommendations based on your style profile and, where you provide a photograph, the clothing-relevant appearance cues derived from it;
• Process your subscription payments and manage your account and subscription;
• Respond to your support requests;
• Operate our referral programme;
• Protect the Service against fraud, abuse, and misuse, and enforce usage limits;
• Comply with our legal obligations.

4. How your information is shared with service providers

To operate the Service, we share certain information with trusted third-party service providers who process it on our behalf. Each provider receives only the information needed to perform its function:

• Supabase — hosts our database and securely stores your account data, style profile, the photograph you save to your account, and the appearance cues derived from it.
• Stripe — processes subscription payments. Your payment is handled directly by Stripe under its own privacy policy.
• FASHN — provides our virtual try-on technology. When you use virtual try-on, the photograph you provide and the garment image are sent to FASHN to generate the try-on preview. We may use fal.ai as an alternative provider for the same purpose.
• Anthropic (Claude) — provides the AI that generates outfit recommendations, the appearance-cue analysis used to personalise styling, Look Review and Item Review, and stylist chat responses. Relevant inputs (such as your style profile details, the photographs you provide for these features, and the questions you submit) are sent to Anthropic to produce a response.
• Resend — delivers emails generated by our support form to our inbox.
• Affiliate partners (including Admitad and the retailers it connects, such as The Deal Outlet and Jashanmal) — when you click a product link in a recommended outfit, you are directed to the retailer through an affiliate link. See our Terms of Service for details of our affiliate relationships.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Affiliate links

Product links in our outfit recommendations are affiliate links. When you click them you may be taken to third-party retailer websites, which are governed by their own privacy policies and terms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party websites.

6. International transfers

We are based in the United Arab Emirates, and some of our service providers operate in other countries. This means your personal information may be processed outside the UAE. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information remains protected in accordance with this Policy.

7. Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.

Your saved photograph. A photograph you save to your account is stored as a single image and is replaced if you upload a new one. It, and the appearance cues derived from it, are retained until you delete the photograph or your account. When you delete your saved photograph through your profile, both the photograph and the appearance cues derived from it are removed.

Photographs of another person, and photographs from users without an account. A photograph of another person you are styling, and any photograph provided by a user who does not have an account, are processed only to generate your result. They are not stored on our servers and exist only for the duration of your session. (Such photographs are sent to the third-party processors described in Section 4 to generate your result, and are handled by those processors under their own policies.)

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 9).

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including access controls on stored photographs and the use of reputable service providers. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights and choices

You may:

• Access and update your account and style profile information at any time through your profile settings.
• Delete your saved photograph at any time through your profile. This removes the photograph and the appearance cues derived from it.
• Delete your data. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information, including your saved photograph and derived appearance cues, by contacting us at privacy@atelierlooks.com. We process such requests manually, in accordance with applicable law.
• Manage your subscription through the Stripe customer portal accessible from your account.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

The Service uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the Service to function, such as keeping you signed in and enforcing usage limits. By using the Service you consent to such necessary cookies.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
